What we offer

Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge is open year-round. During the summer months we offer 11 private cabins for rent. Between November and April, we winterize some of our cabins due to cold weather conditions. 

Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge is surrounded by a serene forest backing up to Montana Creek. Montana Creek is renowned for its amazing Rainbow Trout fishing. Our guests enjoy access to our private walking trails with access to Montana Creek.

For a true Alaskan experience, we invite our guests to spend some time at our nightly campfire (free firewood) and enjoy complimentary s’mores!

Our Main Lodge can be reserved by our guests from 6 pm to 10 pm to make your own meal and enjoy your evening with your family and friends. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room with a beautiful fireplace. Fees may apply.

Our Cabins

All our cabins have full private bathrooms and private screen porches with patio furniture.

For your convenience our Family Cabins (Cabins 4 and 5) feature full kitchens that include a cook top and oven. All other cabins offer private kitchenettes that are well equipped with a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, dishes and silverware. 

All cabins are set up with 32” Smart TV’s that you can use with your own device or subscriptions to watch your favorite shows and movies. Our guests also enjoy free, fast and reliable Wi-Fi in all our cabins.

Reservations

Studio Cabins 1 & 2 can accommodate up to 5 guests and come with a Queen bed, a lower full-size bed and upper twin bed.

Cabin 3 can accommodate up to 5 guests and comes with a King bed, a lower full-size bed and an upper twin bed.

Cabins 6 and 7 can accommodate up to 2 guests and offer a King Bed and a Bistro table.

Studio Cabin 10 can accommodate up to 4 guests. It features a Queen bed as well as an upper and lower twin bunk bed.

Family Cabin 4 can accommodate up to 4 guests. It offers a separate bedroom with a Queen bed as well as a living room with a futon couch.

Family Cabin 5 can accommodate up to 4 guests. It offers two separate bedrooms. One with a Queen bed and another one with two twin beds.

Luxury Cabins 8 and 9 can accommodate up to 2 guests. These cabins feature a separate spacious bedroom with a King bed and a sitting area with a 9’ window looking out into the forest.

Little Cabin 12 can accommodate up to 3 guests. It offers two separate bedrooms connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom.  This cabin offers a Queen bed and a Twin bed.
